Position: English Language Teachers

Qualifications and Experience:
- a university degree in linguistics, literature, or education preferred.
- professional English teaching certification in TESOL, TEFL or related language education fields
- at least two years English teaching experience
- ability in designing, developing and implementing educational plans and
materials
- ability to supply individualized language learning materials
- clear and accurate pronunciation without accent
- native English speakers
- excellent teaching and presentation skills for both large and small groups

Students: Undergraduates specializing in English Literature and Business English
Graduate and doctoral students majoring in science and engineering
Subjects: Oral English, English Writing, Brief Introduction of Main
English-Speaking countries (including geography, culture, economy and
politics)
Duration: One academic year from September 2008 to July 2009

Teaching Load: 12-14 hours a week

Compensation and Benefits:
The monthly salary ranges from 2800 RMB Yuan to 4000 RMB Yuan plus 1000 Yuan as housing allowance if appointee resides off-campus. This salary is to be taxed in accordance with the tax laws of the Chinese Government.

Visa and Work Permit:
KUST will cover work permit expenses and fees. KUST staff will assist with application forms and procedures.
